by the Government of Dominica to process applications for Economic Citizenship
and Passports.
Dominica is a democratic country with freely elected representatives. The system of law is based on the English legal system. The Prime Minister is Roosevelt Skerrit.

Second citizenship may be desired for a
number of reasons, including security or as part of tax planning. At the present time the only means of obtaining
Dominican citizenship is through the direct cash contribution.

Benefits of Dominican Citizenship include:
Citizenship for Life (once granted citizenship this is for life).
A Dominica passport also grants residence, if the client wishes, but it is not required.
You have the same rights as a citizen by birth.
Duration of passport
Passport is valid for 10 years and can be renewed very easily.
Visa Free Travel
Travel visa-free to more than one hundred (100) countries including: Great Britain , Hong Kong , Liechtenstein , Singapore , South Korea and Switzerland . Where a visa is required (Schengen States), it is relatively easy to obtain it within a day.

Types of Citizenship
Family Option
A family of four (Investor, spouse and two children under 18): US $100,000
Additional children under 18: US $15,000.00
Children between 18 and 21: US $25,000.00
Single Option
Where the Applicant is the sole applicant for citizenship whether or not he is married, the direct cash contribution which he will be required to make is US $75,000.

How to Apply for Citizenship
Documents you will need to provide:
- A letter of Application addressed to the Minister of Legal Affairs which we will advise you on.
- Certified copies of passports
- Certified copy of Birth Certificates for all members of the family from place of residence and birth if different
- Marriage Certificate or Dissolution of Marriage where required
- Police Record, with fingerprints, from country of birth and country of residence (if different) for each applicant sixteen (16) years and older
- One (1) professional reference
- Two (2) personal references. Referees should have known the investor for 3 years or more.
- Recommendation from applicants’ banker.
- Letter of employment.
- If you own your own business, an audited financial statement.
- Letter of recommendation from the head of the school/university for children between 16 and 18 years old.
- Detailed Business Background Reports/ Resume
- Most recent Income Tax Return
- Notarized copies of University/College Diplomas
- Eight (8) passport size photos for each applicant
- Affidavit from investor declaring source of funds
- Statutory Declaration
- Medical Certificate including HIV report (Download Medical Form)
- Notarized Disclosure Form (Download Disclosure Form)
- Two (2) completed and notarized copies of Application Form 12 for each applicant. (Download Application Form 12)
- Documents should not pre-date application by more than three months.
Due Diligence
You will have to pay for due diligence. These costs range from US$5,000 upwards. The cost varies according to
i) where you have resided,
ii) the number of countries in which you have resided,
iii) your county of birth,
iv) number of family members.
Interviews
All applicants will be required to undertake an interview which will be conducted in English. No interpreters will be allowed.
Interviews are held on the last Friday of each month but can be held at another date. It is possible to obtain an interview on another day on payment of US$3,000.00.
If the investor is unable to travel to Dominica and wishes to have his interview conducted overseas, interviews can be conducted at the British High Commission in London or in New York.
In no circumstances will an interview be waived.
The whole process takes approximately six weeks from the date of receipt of due diligence report provided all the correct documentation has been supplied.
